Peter joined the Veale Partners team in 2001 and has been a very significant part of Veale Partners’ growth. A dedicated accountant who focuses his energy on serving clients’ interests, he is highly qualified and advises on complex business and tax structures. Peter leads our administration team and is largely responsible for the management of the practice.

Always prepared to go the extra mile, Peter believes nothing is impossible.  He encourages the Veale Partners team as well as clients to dream and create a path towards personal and professional success. His aim is to deliver the highest quality professional service, whilst retaining a strong personal relationship with clients. 

Peter’s qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Monash University. He is a member of CPA Australia and is a Registered Tax Agent.

Married with two children, his spare time is spent with his children’s sporting activities and discovering the emerging café culture with family and friends.

Carlo joined the practice in 1992 when it was a sole practitioner firm known as Close Veale & Co, operated by Robin Veale.  He proved himself to be dedicated and committed and became a very young Partner in 1995.  Carlo’s perseverance and hard work have been integral and certainly enhanced the growth of the firm over the years.

With a broad and in-depth knowledge of local tax, Carlo’s specialist areas span a broad range of accounting services from business advisory, taxation planning and compliance to strategic planning and advice. Carlo is very focused and extremely dedicated to his clients. He is always available as a sounding board to discuss specific issues and concerns and he works hard to deliver work in a timely and cost-effective manner.  No client is too big or too small for Carlo’s close attention.

Carlo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from RMIT, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Registered Tax Agent.

Carlo is married and is the proud father of two beautiful daughters.  He is a passionate St. Kilda supporter.

Joining the Veale Partners’ team in July 2005, Mario is the latest addition to the senior management team.  He brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience.

‘Delivering the highest level of professional service and innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of clients’ is his mantra.  No issue is too complex for Mario and his specialised team; they work hard to achieve the best possible outcome for clients in their  financial goals. 

Mario’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Accounting from Monash University and he is a  fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mario is a real family man, married with two children - he enjoys being actively involved in their upbringing and daily activities.  Mario is a one-eyed Collingwood supporter.

“Down to earth” is an apt description of Veale Partners’ founder, Robin Veale.  He has been part of the business since its creation and has been involved in many business success stories. Committed to assisting clients find better ways of controlling their businesses, Robin is a firm believer in the philosophy that you must spend as much time on the business as you do in the business.

Robin is a fellow of CPA Australia, a Registered Tax Agent and a Registered Company Auditor. 

Married with a grown-up family, Robin enjoys tending to his vines and plants. He still loves to surf, having been a member of the Anglesea Surf Life Saving Club for nearly 50 years and is a life member of the club.

Robin’s current position at Veale Partners is as a consultant, assisting clients with the administration of their self managed superannuation funds.

Christine joined the Veale Partners team in 2003 and is a highly organised and self-motivated accountant with a passion for her job.  She leads the Quality Assurance Team to ensure that professional standards are maintained. 

Christine has been busy implementing the necessary infrastructure to support the firm as well as continuing to drive excellence.  She is responsible for the superannuation division and provides advice to over 100 private funds.

Christine’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Accounting from Monash University. She is a member of CPA Australia.

Christine’s interests include travel; in fact there are few places around the world left for Christine and her husband to explore!

Elleen joined the Veale Partners’ team in 2005, having earlier worked closely with Christine at a medium-tier firm. Elleen has broad experience in the Taxation field and a solid business/accounting background.

Elleen is reliable, practical and thorough; with extensive experience in providing advisory services to all types of businesses. Her enthusiasm and client focus is highly valued. Elleen has an in-depth knowledge of the superannuation arena; in fact, she heads the Self-Managed Superannuation Funds team ensuring that Superannuation Funds are compliant with the ever increasing statutory legislation which regulates their operation.

Elleen holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from China and a Masters Degree from Monash University. She is a member of CPA Australia.

Elleen’s interests outside work include reading, travelling, going to the movies and shopping. She also enjoys being home with her husband, her cat Dolby and therapeutic time in her garden.

Georgia joined 2005 after having worked with Mario for a number of years at an inner city firm.

Georgia’s systematic approach and determination are held in high regard by the clients with whom she works. Georgia is a dedicated accountant who puts her clients’ needs first. She may be described as a business ally, working behind the scenes for each of her clients.

Georgia holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance from RMIT.

As part of her ongoing commitment to the profession and younger team members, Georgia spends considerable time mentoring our graduates and juniors.

Georgia is an outgoing accountant; she is always up for a laugh. Georgia is married; she enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and travel.

Karen joined Carlo’s team at Veale Partners back in 2002 and has been working in the taxation arena since she graduated in 1998.

Karen holds a Bachelors degree in Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Melbourne University and an Economics degree from Monash University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Karen’s experience and technical competency are the driving force behind her success in achieving favourable results for our clients. She is proficient in the use of accounting software including MYOB and Quickbooks.

Karen specialises in a broad range of tax matters including income tax, capital gains tax, fringe benefits tax, taxation of trusts, superannuation and tax structuring.

Outside of work, Karen enjoys dining out with friends, karaoke, mahjong, going to the movies and playing badminton. Her annual leave of late has been spent exploring exotic locations in Asia.
